Two Collier County individuals have filed suit against their father over allegations they were not paid for overtime work during their employment.

Kane Pree and Blake Pree filed a complaint on Jan. 24 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against Pickle Pro LLC and Todd Pree citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, Kane Pree founded Pickle Pro as a minor and that the entity was incorporated in Todd Pree’s name. The suit states both plaintiffs began working for the defendants in 2013 and that in April 2016, Todd Pree terminated their employment.

The plaintiffs allege that Kane Pree and Blake Pree worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation. Kane Pree alleges he is owed $20,835 in accrued overtime and Blake Pree alleges he is owed $17,362.50 in overtime wages.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek damages, all legal fees and interest plus any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Benjamin H. Yormak of Yormak Employment & Disability Law in Bonita Springs.
